Really like this game. Surprisingly complex, diverse characters, considering it's short game. The parents seem to be game mechanic tools rather than actual characters, but I guess that's to be expected. My main issue is that the save feature doesn't seem to work. It also won't connect to my Google Play account, so I'm not getting any achievements. Which isn't a huge problem, but it's a bummer. I prefer this on the pc, for this reason. I like being able to make use of the save feature.

It's plenty fun, I just wish more characters would be added and there could be more meaningful interaction with parents. The game can get addicting, but once you've gone through each character's story, it can get boring and repetitive. If this game gets an update my review way change, but it's a bit monotonous after I've gone through all of the endings.

Gorgeous game I'm just a little bad at the exams. And I wish there was more than 4 stories. Although I can say that nate's story was amazing and I loved His song .. I found a way around the. Game not having too many story lines because After I've done. Every romance Route I thought existed. I'm finding more that. I thought you could only be friends with.. I'm also very invested in getting more and more careers finished. It's a very, very good game, probably one of my favorite games ever.

Fun game overall and can suck you in, especially in the first playthrough. It would be nice to have more varied parent interactions, or possibly some sort of expansion to a different city later on. I think the game set out to achieve a well mapped goal, and they sufficiently did that. Worth spending the few dollars to play it, and would be interested to see if they take it further in the future.

Will this game ever have DLC or updates? I think it has the potential to be furthered. I would love to support that idea. Don't get me wrong, this game was well written, the different paths you can have as male or female and romance options or non romance. It's great. I love when games don't over compensate and force you to buy IAP to complete a BASE game. This game does not do that. You can rest assured that it's satisfying to play. The music and art brings the whole 90s vibe together.

Just spent way too much time playing this, and it's a super fun game. I thought it would go past high school, but after the SATs, there is just a cutscene. This game would be 5 stars if it went into college. I also felt like the character's relationship to their parents was a little unreasonable, and made it difficult to enjoy the game at times. Definitely would recommend despite these things!

This is a fantastic game I've played it multiple times on my phone and I even have it on my laptop as well. I love this game so much, the art style and story writing is phenomenal. My only suggestions are that the interactions with the parents be more fleshed out, also make other family members to interact with such as siblings, grandparents etc. , Being able to own a pet would be a nice addition and more fleshed out interactions with your friends. Otherwise this game is amazing, keep it up!

Addicting to play, but not much depth. I played through 2 and a quarter "lives" and there's not much going on in this game. It's similar to Princess Maker styled games, but with no depth. You need to balance happiness and parental expectations, but it's super easy. In both completed games I maxed out 3 stats, with all related skills mastered, without any issue. Main reason I dropped it was because the stories they have started to repeat on my 3rd playthrough. Also the pacing is super weird.

Fun experience with multiple playthroughs. It gets a lot easier after the first run when you know what to do. There is some interaction and story, but the game is mostly about raising stats and skills so don't go in expecting a complete visual novel. The only major issue I have with the game is that the option to sign in through Google Play (for Achievements) doesn't work. So basically, Achievements can't be accessed.

Wow, impressive and FUN, but... I would give this game 5 stars in a heartbeat, but I'm able to save progress. There is an option to link to Google Play services, but nothing happens other than a click when you press it. Likewise, when you select to view your achievements. I'm off to try support on Twitter, but on the good stuff. The game mechanics and graphics are really nice. It feels like a well developed game, and I'm already caught up in my little simulated person and helping her grow.

Really quite fun, the worst thing about it, in my opinion, is that your fun Stat (it's not called that but whatever( is lowered by everything except entertainment activities, and I think it would make more sense if we got fun from the special career side skills (like fashion, art, etc), or at least didn't lose it while doing them, because you generally only do those if you enjoy them they're more like passions. I think that would help keep things more balanced, but again that's just my opinion.

Addicting but too repetitive. Every story line is basically a repeat. Every game you meet people you'd grow up with and then they try and make that a romance and don't really offer a partner idea. I think out of 6 games, I got an option for a partner once. You spend most of the time balancing happiness and making parents happy while trying to get extra moves for the exam. Has potential but it's seriously lacking right now. Also, this game has nothing to do with the 90s.

I'm writing this review after 3 playthroughs, so keep that in mind. I really enjoy this game. It has a gameplay loop that keeps you wanting to play "one more turn" until you realize you've lost an hour. While I do recommend this game I have some suggestions. 1) Flesh out the parents personalities more or just give them more to say. 2) Give the player choice about who to hang out with and when. 3) Add an in game page to show us what scenes and relationships we've "collected". 4) Add college

Over all it was fun but not sure if I would play it again. I found how you get points addicting & fun but base on how it's marketed I thought the game continues into your characters life after high-school but every thing after that is just a cutscene. That was disappointing because I was having fun playing it & saved up points but then it was just over. Also I did not pick my persons career or spouse, they were both randomly assigned at the end. Loved that there are no ads/in game purchases.

An addictive game involving strategy more than anything. It's not like the "relationship" type games where the goal is making "life decisions" that affect your story. You're basically leveling up an infant through childhood with their education and skills as points, and have to strategize to reach MAXIMUM ADULTHOOD. But you're also rewarded with a variety of endings customized to your life path.

Amawyn Oakleaf

Fun game with one-more-turn addictiveness. No IAPs: it's buy once, get the full game, no energy/timers mechanic, which I really appreciate. I like that there are some random factors (for better replayability), but also strategy for choosing activities and learning skills. Cute concept of the brain neuron map as the skill tree!

Alex Journey

No matter what, or time of day, or things going on, I find myself drawn back to this glorious game. It takes strategy, repetition, reactions, and a genuine goal. You get invested in each character, for better or for worse. Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and getting to work through them, help your friends work through the dark storm clouds, hoping to be able to give them the best outcome THIS time? It's so indepth and intuitive, emotional and rational, tense and exciting. I'm addicted.

Gameplay Loop - Addictive; Art & Sound - Beautiful; Replayability - High (IMO); Writing - Compelling; Mini Games - 'jewel drop' & and unlocking brain nodes (LOVE THIS ONE); Value For Price - High; This game will divide a lot of people. If you like repeating gameplay loops where you are always angling to improve this time, or vary tactics, it is great. NPCs have assigned sexual orientations! There is none of the 'make every NPCs bi, but only if propositioned by the player' stuff. I LOVE IT!

Hannah Bartlett

Lots of replay value and almost all the characters have a cool story arch! It's also cute to see your previous playable character as the parent to your new one, even though their personality doesn't really shine through during the parenting. I also really wish you could continue your characters life further, but I get that it's beyond the scope of the game and would take a lot more work for the developers. Basically, I love it so much I wish there was more. 🤣

MzGamer Recluse

Great game! But too short, a bit lacking. I'm currently obsessed with this 😍 Love the music. Love the dialogs between MC and the NPC. Love the graphics. However, the game is too short. I feel that the developers thinks we stop growing at 18, since you're considered an adult by the society. Yet, life doesn't end there & choices made in high school doesn't really shape what our entire life. I do wish they'll consider adding college years. Since, college kids needs a lot of growing up too.
